EAGOT was founded on November 19, 2021 by four gynecologic oncology clinical trial groups in East Asia. Each member group conducts clinical trials in its own country and works with the others through EAGOT.

Japan
Japanese Gynecologic Oncology Group (JGOG)
A nationwide clinical research group working with major universities and cancer centers in Japan. It began in 1981 as a cervical cancer chemotherapy research group and became a non-profit organization in 2002.

Korea
Korean Gynecologic Oncology Group (KGOG)
Established in 2002, KGOG conducts multi-center clinical trials for gynecologic cancers in Korea. It was re-established as a non-profit organization in 2021.

Chinese Anti-Cancer Association Integrated Gynecological Oncology (CHISGO)
The Chinese member group of EAGOT, formerly listed as the Chinese Gynecologic Cancer Society (CGCS).

Taiwan
Taiwanese Gynecologic Oncology Group (TGOG)
Established in 2009 under the Scientific Committee of the Taiwan Association of Gynecologic Oncologists (TAGO), TGOG became an independent non-governmental organization in 2021.
